Day 1
Day 1: Hervey Bay
Arrive at Sunshine Coast Airport, pick up your rental car and head to the relaxing oasis of Ramada Hervey Bay. The perfect spot to soak up the peaceful vibe of Hervey Bay, a charming seaside town, take a stroll on the Esplanade and relax in Ramada's outdoor pool and heated spa. In the evening, hop aboard a luxury yacht for a Champagne Sunset Sail. Pink Queensland skies, the crystal clear azure waters of Hervey Bay and a cold drink in your hand – it doesn’t get much better than this!

The Champagne Sunset Sail on the Blue Dolphin Marine Tours’ luxury yacht offers a relaxing 90-minute sail of the Great Sandy Strait. Soak up the panoramic views of Hervey Bay and World Heritage listed Fraser Island (K’gari), watch a spectacular sunset cast shadows of amber and gold as the warm night invites the stars out to play. Enjoy the all-inclusive drinks and delicious finger food platter, and simply sit back, relax and enjoy.
Ramada by Wyndham Hervey Bay
Next to World Heritage listed Fraser Island and surrounded by calm family friendly beaches, Ramada Hervey Bay offers the perfect base to explore the natural beauty and charm of the Fraser Coast. Only metres from Hervey Bay Marina, you can soak up the peaceful vibe of this seaside town. Rooms include a balcony, complimentary WiFi, refrigerators, and movies. Wake up feeling refreshed and swim in the outdoor pool or heated spa.

Stop 2: Hervey Bay to Fraser Island
A ferry will take you to the world’s largest sand island and World Heritage-listed, Fraser Island! Known as K’gari (meaning "paradise") by the traditional owners, the Butchulla people, this is the ultimate island wilderness supporting beautiful freshwater lakes, massive sand blows, towering rainforest, spectacular cliffs of coloured sands and 120km of continuous ocean beach.

Known as K’gari (meaning paradise) by the traditional owners, the Butchulla people, this is the ultimate island wilderness supporting beautiful freshwater lakes, massive sand blows, towering rainforest, spectacular cliffs of coloured sands and 120km of continuous ocean beach.
